Navigating the World

We perceive the world in different ways, one may picture the world as cruel, and one may picture it as beautiful. But, we have our own worlds, now, let's take a step into my world. I very much believe that each person's existence is unique in their own way, as for me, the most unique thing that people find about myself is the fact that I was born on the 1st day of the year 2008-January 1st, which is also my grandfather's birthday, hence why I am named after him. I'm Mary Jessica Hilario, 15 years old.

A compass navigates an explorer through their journey, always finding the true north, as for me, I think myself as a compass because, I too is still finding my true north, finding my true path and my purpose I have for this world and its people.

Growing up, I have never truly decided what I wanted to be. Staring at my paper with the question on it "What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up?" and writing one profession after another and after another. Now that I'm grown and almost reaching college, I am truly lost and dumbfounded at what I'm gonna take as my profession. It's not just what do I want to be when I grow up but also, who I want to be when I grow up. I spend most of my time thinking rather than doing, because of this habit, I often have a lot of regrets.

As forementioned, a compass navigates an explorer, I can also be a compass to other people, helping them in finding their way when lost, and helping them when they lose track of their way. Helping people as much as I can is one of the things that I like about myself, but sometimes you help them too much they start taking you for granted.

Each person was born into this world with a purpose, some people has trouble figuring it out while others was given to it most instantly, again, every person is unique, it just takes a lot of time for us to figure it out, to figure life out.
